An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our College kitchen team as Pastry Chef. This role would suit an experienced and qualified Chef with a strong knowledge on pastry. We are looking for somebody who is dedicated and has a natural flair for cooking, as well as an enthusiastic team player who is self-motivated and confident in their specialist area.
In a very professional operation, we provide a high standard of cuisine to both our College and Conference business clientele. The successful candidate will enjoy contributing to the excellent reputation of the department. You will be expected to work with the team at continuously producing fresh, innovative and well-presented food while making sure that all internal procedures/policies as well all catering legislations tasks are fulfilled. You should be confident in all cooking areas with a knowledge of issues relating to food allergies and intolerances.
A flexible approach towards evening and weekend working is essential.
Applicants must possess a minimum of a level NVQ 3 in food production (or equivalent).
