A specialist in Event Marketing David has worked with Greenwich University delivering programmes to both undergrad and postgrad courses in marketing and most recently has been delivering the marketing workshop for apprentices to attain their City & Guilds Diploma in marketing.

Richard John

Richard is a business trainer, consultant, writer, and presenter. His approach to learning is to take this wealth of experience and to transfer it into effective training delivery which makes a difference.

His clients range from major blue-chip organisations to SMEs and even micro businesses.

Richard worked for Derby university as a Workforce Development Fellow and is currently a Course Director for their Events and Sponsorship programme at the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

He is Founder of the Meetology® Lab and as a professional speaker, has presented on Meetology® at business events in over 30 countries. Ben Cole

Ben is founder and MD of Inspired, a creative live experience agency. With a clear focus on audience engagement, Inspired works closely with brands to share their story via the creation of compelling events.

Ben set up Inspired in 2011 after an extensive career in the events industry. His work has taken him around the globe, producing experiences for such brands as BMW, Shell and HP, and his passionate belief in the power of face-to-face burns brighter than ever in 2017.

Ben’s focus is on informing event strategy, and curating the right resources and knowledge to produce impactful live experiences which live long in the memory.

 Carol Primett

Carol Primett is the Events Manager at Anglian Water responsible for the development and delivery of multiple strategic events, customer engagement and behavioural change campaigns. 

Carol’s interest in delivering sustainable events lead to her taking part in Positive Impact’s roundtable discussion

in 2014 to discuss how the UK Could become a global leader in sustainability and a panel member at the Sustainable Events Summit in 2017.

An miaList judge since 2016, Carol is involved in recognising the incredible and inspiring talent within the events industry.

 Rose Padmore - ABPCO

Rose has been trading as an independent PCO since 2000 under the banner of Opening Doors and Venues, a small ‘yet perfectly formed’ Midlands based agency mainly delivering not for profit conferences, she is experienced at working to tight budgets with high outcome demands that often require significant face to face engagement. She joined ABPCO as a full member in 2006 and, having become more and more passionate about the conference and events industry over the years, with a growing desire to ensure it is recognised and valued as a strong business sector, took on an Executive Board role in 2015.  Rose believes that the continued success of OD&V is down to the value put on exceptional communication and the building of strong trusted working relationships and much of her more recent inspiration is fuelled by young event management graduate colleagues and the monumental changes to the industry that technology and social media have brought. Having worn PCO shoes (flatties of course) for nearly 18 years Rose welcomes any opportunity to share her experiences and lessons learnt along the way and does confess to wondering if it’s probably not a role to take you to late retirement years. When not organising conferences and events Rose can be found in her local church where she’s a volunteer Authorised Lay Minister or, with her husband, walking the Clent Hills in Worcestershire and sailing at Barnt Green Sailing Club.

With extensive marketing experience in agency and client side, Laura knows how to tease out the hidden gems that make your brand story compelling and relevant.

 

 

Jordan Griggs – Sales Development Glisser

Jordan is passionate about all things technology related, and the opportunity that new innovations present to the events and training industries. Before heading up new business at the fast scaling engagement technology company Glisser, Jordan worked as a Business Development Manager for Trustmarque in the corporate space.

Now on a mission to educate and provide consultative advice to businesses who may have overlooked the value technology can provide, Glisser believes technology should be assisting face to face interactions in a variety of environments.

Hannah Aldis

Hannah recently graduated from Bournemouth University where she completed a 4-year degree in BA (Hons) Events Management, which covered topics including Event Innovation, Consumer Behaviour, Experiential Marketing, Finance, and Strategy. Her penultimate year was used to gain industry experience. Hannah spent the year working at London Experiential Events Agency – ITCH where she worked on a variety of projects for clients such as Mazda, Google and Virgin Media. Using what she learned whilst on placement, Hannah wrote her dissertation on the Impact of Co-creation within the Automotive Industry. Since leaving university, Hannah has joined creative live experience agency, Inspired, as a Production Co-ordinator. Inspired works hard to create experiences which create a long-lasting impact. This is a principle that strongly resonates with Hannah, and first attracted her to Inspired. Hannah is excited to immerse herself in the world of live experiences and cement her passion for the industry.
