2017 Robinson College’s Annual Reception will be hosted by the Warden, Professor David Yates, in The Armourers’ Hall in the City of London on Wednesday 5th July, from 6.15pm till 8.15pm.

The Annual Reception is a key event in the College’s calendar: it provides us with an opportunity to thank Friends and Donors to the College for their support and to invite all Members to join us for drinks and canapés.

We do not charge a set ticket price, but any gift you can make to help defray the cost of this event would be very gratefully received. If you would like to attend, please book online here, or contact the Development Office by Monday, 26th June, email: development-office@robinson.cam.ac.uk. Please note that bookings may close earlier than this if the event is fully booked.

There will be a Biography Booklet created for this event, which will list all the guests, their short biographies and photographs. Should you wish to submit your short biography entry and a photograph, please fill in this form. Thank you.

The Armourers & Brasiers' Company is a Livery Company of the City of London.  It was founded in 1322 as the Guild of St George of the Armourers, it was awarded its first Royal Charter in 1453 from King Henry VI.  In 1708 the Armourers joined with the Brasiers and the Worshipful Company of Armourers & Brasiers received its current charter from Queen Anne.   Since the 19th Century, the main focus of the Company has been its charitable giving.

The Company has occupied its current site since 1346. The present Armourers' Hall was built in 1839 and re-modelled in 1872.  It is a Grade 2* listed building and a scheduled ancient monument.

We very much hope that you will be able to join us for this special event.
