University Lecturer in Engineering Materials
My current teaching involves covering the basics of plastic deformation and fracture, referring to the behaviour of metals and ceramics (IA), the elastic behaviour of composites containing fibres which are, in effect, infinitely long (Part IIB) and the design of medical materials for orthopaedic and cardiovascular devices (Part IIA).
Listening to music, travelling, reading books and stamp collection.
