Public law: judicial review; the judiciary. Administrative Law generally but particularly legal effect of invalid acts, the foundations of judicial review, legitimate expectations, etc, etc. Comparative public law, especially in South East Asia and Southern Africa. Private international law: theory and comparative studies. Roman-Dutch law: especially suretyship and private international law.
