Robinson College Environment Forum are celebrating having been awarded Gold in the NUS Green Impact Scheme for the third consecutive year.

Scoring highly across all key areas of the operation including energy management, water conservation, biodiversity and community, procurement, waste management and recycling, embedding processes and communication, most departments of the College were assessed to ensure a very high level of performance.

The Environment Forum (EF) team is made up of representatives from departments across the College and both JCR and MCR Green Officers, meeting on a quarterly basis to discuss progress and green initiatives that could be implemented at Robinson.

The target for 2018 will be to try and reach Platinum level by attaining an even higher score.  However the real benefits are in the long term environmental successes which are achieved, all of which lead to improved sustainability for the College, Cambridge and the planet!
