We have a very exciting line-up planned for Lent Term 2017. 'Songs for a New World' is, according to composer Jason Robert Brown, “about one moment. It’s about hitting the wall and having to make a choice, or take a stand, or turn around and go back.” Through the power of music each character takes hold of their moment and finds the strength to enter into a new world. This incredible musical, directed by Robinson’s Anastasia Raymond, will run from 9-11th February.

Then we have Tom Stoppard's existentialist tragicomedy, 'Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead' from 16-18th February. Have you ever wondered if you're not, in fact, the leading role in your own life but, actually, a walk-on part in someone else's tragedy? It's been a while since Rosencrantz and Guildenstern last saw Hamlet, their old friends from university, and things in Denmark have gotten a little rotten since then. These two minor characters, who watch from the wings as Shakespeare's play unfolds, are thrown centre-stage to make sense of it all in Tom Stoppard's chilling tragicomedy.

Described by The Guardian as “unarguably one of the best dramas of the twenty-first century”, our third production, 'Jerusalem' offers a unique gritty take on rural life in contemporary England. The play follows the iconoclastic, drug-dealing anti hero Johnny Rooster Bryon who functions as a larger-than-life woodland father figure to the town's teenagers. Dark secrets lurk in this quaint West Country idyll running from 23rd-25th February.

Finally, we head ‘Back to the 80s’ with Corey Palmer as he looks back on his graduating class of William Ocean High School. Watch as they live through their final senior year - and experience the fun, the heartbreak, the loves and the loneliness of growing up… all set to the biggest hits of the 80’s! This jukebox musical will close our Lent 2017 season and will run from 2nd-4th March.
