Robinson College, Cambridge has achieved Bronze in the Best Academic Venue category at the Meetings and Incentive Travel Awards (M&IT) for the third consecutive year.
The awards are voted for by clients and peers recognising excellence within a particular field.
This year’s ceremony took place at Battersea Evolution and was attended by more than 1,000 meetings and events professionals to reward excellence in service.
Commenting on the achievement, Conference and Catering Manager, Nick Milne said: “We are delighted to have achieved this accolade for the third year in a row. It’s a real vote of confidence from our clients that we are both matching and surpassing expectations on a daily basis. 2015 has been a momentous year, from the opening of the new Crausaz Wordsworth Building to achieving AIM Gold accreditation.
“2016 promises to be a productive year, we have so far registered 11% growth in our meetings and events business (in comparison to the same period in 2015). We have also launched clic+ Club, a series of events which has evolved from our award-winning 2014 event, clic+, and its 2015 sequel. We look forward to building on this success and hope to repeat our success at next year’s awards.”
Robinson College is one of Cambridge’s most innovative and forward-thinking academic venues. As part of the venue’s commitment to thought leadership in the meetings and events industry, clic+ Club looks to foster new ideas and practices. The first clic+ Club event, taking place on Friday 20th March 2016 in Robinson College’s newest venue, The Crausaz Wordsworth Building, will focus on Event Research. To register click here.
