Robinson College is working with Slaughter and May, an international law firm, to provide an insight into law for Year 12 students considering applying to study Law at university. This will entail an introduction to Law as a university course, workshops to practise the skills required of Cambridge Law students, as well as a chance to explore both the academic study of law and its practice.
This will be a day event hosted at Robinson College, one of the Colleges that form the University of Cambridge. The event is free-of-charge, with lunch provided by the College. Travel expenses are covered for students eligible within our Travel Costs policy. For participants travelling from further afield (over 3 hours) the College may be able to provide you with accommodation the night before.
The Law Residential is open to students currently in Year 12 (England & Wales), Year 13 (Northern Ireland) or S5 (Scotland) and studying at a UK state-maintained school (i.e. non-fee paying).
The programme is open to students who identify with at least one of the following criteria:
