Robinsonian awarded CBE in New Year Honours

Naguib Kheraj (Economics, 1983) has been appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the King's New Year Honours, for services to Business and the Economy. 

Naguib has had a successful career in financial services. He currently serves as Chairman of two businesses – Rothesay a specialist pensions insurer and Petershill Partners, an asset management business. He has previously been Group Finance Director of Barclays, CEO of JP Morgan Cazenove and Deputy Chairman of Standard Chartered. Throughout his City Career Naguib has been very active in the not-for-profit sector and has been significantly involved in the Aga Khan Development Network, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, the Wellcome Trust, Oxford University Press and has been a member of the Finance Committee of Cambridge University.
