Another academic year has ended at Robinson and it was wonderful to see the students able to enjoy the full Cambridge experience after so long. Hopefully many happy memories made for students and those able to return to graduate and enjoy the festivities.
The Chandrakala & Mansukhlal Shah Building, the new home for the Robinson College Archive, was officially opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Sunday, 3 July 2022. Hosted by the Warden, Sir Richard Heaton KCB, and attended by many of the donors who had contributed to the building, it was a very special occasion.
A statue of Dante Alighieri is now to be found in the garden of 2 Adams Road. This statue created and gifted to the College by its eminent Canadian sculptor, Timothy Schmalz was officially 'unveiled' during a ceremony on 5 July 2022. On this sunny summer afternoon, a reception was held in the Adams Road Garden to celebrate the arrival of this new work of art.
13 May 2021: Robinson College is delighted to announce the election of Sir Richard Heaton KCB as its new Warden, following Professor David Yates’ 20 years of service in the role.
