It is very important that supervisors submit reports on time.  Supervision reports are used not only to track a student’s progress but will allow a timely intervention should it seem that a student’s work is not on track.  Supervision reports are required in any application the College makes for a student to intermit or when applying for an exam allowance.

Supervision reports that are not submitted on time will not be paid until the end of the next term.

Any supervisor who has concerns about a student should contact the College promptly.

Robinson Postgraduate students who do not hold a current UK or Irish passport must be issued with a formal annual worker’s agreement before they begin supervising any students.  Postgraduate students who fall into this category should contact the Tutorial Office at the start of each academic year confirming they will be supervising and therefore need to be issued with a worker’s agreement.  Worker’s agreements are only issued for one academic year and need to renewed annually.

Once a worker’s agreement has been issued the Postgraduate Student must select ‘pay my College’ as the method of payment. Any postgraduate student not from Robinson who is supervising Robinson students must ask their own College to issue a worker’s agreement to them before they start supervising.
