Exciting news... we have a theatrical opportunity coming to the red bricks of Robinson! An upcoming event on Thursday 27th February 4:30-6pm in the Auditorium We have been working hard on bringing this to you, and is not something you want to miss out on!

A workshop brought by an external theatre company made up of both Deaf and hearing signers, focused on intersectionality and open/accessible to all regardless of whether you know any British Sign Language or not! EVERYONE/ANYONE is able to and encouraged to come!

Description of the event from FuseTheatre (the workshop company): ‘Chris Fonseca and Harry Jardine have been working closely together since 2019 before setting up Fuse Theatre CIC in January 2024. Their USP is fusing British Sign Language, Visual Vernacular, Hip Hop, Dance and Movement to create theatrical experiences based on real life stories and events. In this 90-minute workshop, Chris and Harry will take you through the various elements of storytelling, encouraging you to share your stories and then combining the creative language they provide you with to create a short piece of theatre in pairs or groups. Chris is a Deaf BSL-user and Harry is hearing and bilingual. Fuse always strives to make these workshops as accessible as possible for all so please come along with an open mind and join us as we welcome into you a safe place to create.’
