Congratulations to Robinson Fellow Professor Bartomeu Monserrat on his promotion to a University Professorship (Grade 12), in recognition of his world-class teaching and research.

Professor Bartomeu Monserrat, Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, was also awarded a prestigious Philip Leverhulme Prize for Physics last year for his work on computational physics, computational materials science, electronic structure, and energy materials.

On receiving his promotion Professor Monserrat commented that he is “excited to continue contributing to the College and University”
