Professor Bartomeu Monserrat has been awarded a prestigious Philip Leverhulme Prize for Physics

Congratulations to Professor Bartomeu Monserrat, Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, University of Cambridge who was awarded the prize for his work on computational physics, computational materials science, electronic structure, and energy materials.
The Leverhulme Prizes are very competitive, and celebrate outstanding researchers “whose work has already attracted international recognition and whose future careers are exceptionally promising”. Chosen from over 350 nominations, the Trust offered five prizes in each of the following subject areas: Classics, Earth Sciences, Physics, Politics and International Relations, Psychology, and Visual and Performing Arts.
