Alison is a British legal scholar, specialising in public law and constitutional theory, she has been Sir David Williams Professor of Public Law at the University of Cambridge since January 2018. Last month Alison gave the 2025 Public Law Lecture ‘Parliament is not sovereign – and it’s a good thing too’.
