Robinson rowing alumni and current RCBC members, you're invited to a day of Robinson College Boat Club celebrations on Saturday 21 June.
There are many things to celebrate this year, a rough timetable of the day is below (timings to be confirmed):
11am – Naming ceremony of the new M1 eight, a brand-new Fillipi, to be named “Steve Fuller”. A short walk around the bar will highlight just how man blading crews Steve has been involved with, either rowing or coxing. Alongside his involvement with the university Lightweights, he is a Robinson rowing legend and we are very happy to honour him in this way.
12pm – Racing on the Cam! Robinson to feature an M1, M2, M3, W1 and W2
7pm – Meet in the Robinson gardens for pictures and the beginning of the Boat Club Dinner, where we will celebrate:
- The new M1 boat and Steve himself
- This years successful triallists, Theo, Louis and Alex, who are rowing/coxing this coming Mays, and to celebrate Theo and Louis’ wins in the lightweight and blondie boat races respectively
- The 2015 M1 blading crew and their 10-year anniversary
We hope as many of you as possible can join us for what is shaping up to be a fantastic day.
