Research Interests
include the fabrication of three-dimensional nanometre-scale electronic devices. Prior to retirement he set up and headed one of the most advanced ultra-high-resolution lithography facilities in Europe.
Other Interests
Building, flying and racing radio-controlled model aircraft. (Teamed up with his son Ben, they are eight times British Champions; five times British record holders; and current American record holders in the FAI-F3D pylon racing class)
