We are seeking a compassionate and experienced College Nurse to support the health and wellbeing of students and staff across two Colleges (80% / 20%).
As part of the Wellbeing team, you will provide confidential, frontline healthcare and advice on a wide range of physical and mental health issues. You will work closely with colleagues including the Head of Wellbeing, Senior Tutor, and external services to support student welfare within a stepped care model.
Key Responsibilities
• Run nurse-led clinics and provide first aid and health advice
• Assess and respond to medical situations and complex student cases
• Support students with illness, disabilities, and ongoing health needs
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records
• Deliver health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
• Conduct student health interviews and support GP registration
• Liaise with internal teams and external healthcare providers
About You
• Registered Nurse (NMC)
• Strong clinical, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
• Experience or interest in student or community health
