The Robinson College Telephone Campaign 2026 will take place between Wednesday 23rd September and Friday 2nd October.
During this time, a group of current students will be contacting Robinson alumni and friends to reconnect, network, share updates, hear stories and raise funds. They're all looking forward to chatting with you!
This year, our fundraising efforts will focus on the Student Support Fund, ensuring financial assistance is available to students in need. A contribution to this, or any of our fundraising priorities, will be gratefully received and play a pivotal role in supporting current and future Robinson students.

Omar
I am a first-year Medicine student. My favourite hobbies are mainly active, including playing tennis and basketball and going to the gym.
The reason why I applied to this role was that I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try something new, whilst also doing something that will benefit the wider Robinson community and help to provide opportunities for students for years to come.
The thing I love about Robinson is the down-to-earth and calm environment, it is far from the centre and feels a lot more relaxed than other colleges. Also, you feel like everyone is very tight-knit and you can easily get to know others.

I’m a first-year Design student. I am really looking forward to the Telephone Campaign because I see so much value in supporting the relationship that Robinson has with the alumni as it is of such a mutual benefit to both. I also find it very inspiring to discover the paths people have taken after studying at Cambridge University and I will be fascinated to have the opportunity to engage with the Robinson alumni.
I can't wait to learn so much more about the college and to properly embed myself into the Robinson community. I love the caring and friendly feel of Robinson and really appreciate the delicious food in the garden restaurant. Listening to the choir rehearse while studying, wandering the gardens and the Robinson architecture are my highlights of the college so far.
Sophia
I am a second-year History student. I am looking forward to being part of the Telephone Campaign this year because I enjoy hearing about alumni experiences while simultaneously helping to raise donations for current and prospective students.
My time at Robinson thus far has consisted of active participation in Robinson College Boat Club, of which I am now Women’s Captain, so I fully understand the importance of donations sustaining college sport. I have also benefited from the college’s wellbeing activities, especially the Monday evening yoga sessions!
My favourite aspect of Robinson is its welcoming, close-knit community. It is a spirit I will bring to my conversations with alumni, helping to ensure that even beyond the bricks, Binsonians remain connected through a shared sense of belonging.
