On Boxing Day, a group of about 26 Robinson and Churchill alumni and their friends embarked on a boat trip to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. Thanks to the surprisingly good weather this winter, everybody had a good time on the water. The trip started off from Tsimshatui and continued to Ping Chau, which is a small but interesting island to explore. Guests tried their hands at fishing on the way, and some of them got lucky; their catch including poisonous pufferfish! Finally, the party went to Cheung Chau island where they enjoyed a seafood dinner and a beautiful sunset. On the way back, the party sang karaoke on the boat before spectacular views of Victoria Harbour by night. We are grateful to Dr Ka Keung Chan (Electrical and Information Science, 1989) for organising such a wonderful Christmas treat.
