Nawaz Peerbocus (Sustainability Leadership, 2019), writes: "As a proud Robinson College alum, I am currently leading the United Nations Development Programme's Finance Against Slavery and Trafficking (FAST) Global Study on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.

"This flagship initiative investigates the scale of public, private, and philanthropic investments aimed at combating modern slavery—and critically, the vast gap that still remains. Our work is mapping financial flows, identifying barriers to funding, and building the business case for scaling investments to protect vulnerable populations and dismantle exploitative systems. It is a unique effort that blends data, policy, and finance to catalyze global action.

"The study is engaging voices from across development, finance, civil society, and the private sector, and we invite Robinson alumni from all disciplines to get involved—whether by sharing insights, research, or simply following the journey."
