We're delighted to have our magnificent Robinson College organ in our College Chapel has recently been cleaned and restored by Organ Design Ltd.

Robinson organ scholar, Tom Bailey, commented on the recent restoration:

"It is no exaggeration to say that Robinson’s organ, installed by Frobenius in 1980, is one of the very best in Cambridge. It is a beautiful example of the ‘Organ Reform Movement’ which sought to design organs in the style of Baroque instruments. The restoration of this instrument thus not only ensures the continuation of high-class music-making in the chapel, but also the preservation of a fine piece of cultural history!

We’re really excited to have it back in place ahead of our upcoming organ recital series, which will be a great opportunity for all to hear it back in action."
