Robinson College has unveiled its Early Riser DDR and the chance to win a team-building morning, as the Crausaz Wordsworth Building comes into its final stages of construction.

The Crausaz Wordsworth Building Early Riser DDR package is for delegates travelling from across the country who are making an early start to get to Cambridge or for those who would like to start their meetings earlier on in the day. Prices start from £54.95 + VAT per person and includes:

  • Choice of three items from the continental breakfast menu
  • Morning coffee and afternoon tea
  • Exclusive use of the Crausaz Wordsworth Building
  • Hot and cold buffet style lunch
  • Projection facilities in all meeting rooms
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi access
  • Up to two complimentary organiser car park spaces
  • Dedicated event manager and AV technician

Particular highlights include a new range of options on continental breakfast buffet menus 2015, such as:  ‘From the Bakery’, a tantalising array of Danish pastries, muffins and bagels. For those who prefer a healthier start to their morning a selection of fruit, energy bars and rye rolls are available as well as a range of smoothies. All menus have been designed to promote productivity and help maintain concentration.

Nick Milne, conference and catering manager, says: “Our Early Riser DDR promotes the rise in popularity of starting earlier and finishing earlier. As well as the popular perception that people are at their most productive first thing in the morning.”

He adds: “We hope that our offering will also promote our relatively close proximity to major hubs. Cambridge has great rail and road access to London, being only 45 minutes from Kings Cross and Liverpool Street stations and direct transport links to Birmingham and the West Midlands, Home Counties and East Anglia.”

The Crausaz Wordsworth Building will open in late summer 2015. The permanent structure has been designed to create extra space for academic requirements, with plans to make use of the additional facilities for the college’s meetings and events business.
