The final clic+ Club event in the ‘5 Steps to Successful Events’ series took place on Friday 24 March. This thought-provoking series aimed to provide a valuable experience for all attendees, with knowledge-sharing at the heart of each event.

The clic+ Club series evolved this year from the award-winning clic+ 2014 and 2015 conference and exhibition, achieving its aim to build on the initiative’s founding principles: Connect, Learn, Innovate and Communicate. Each Club has focused on a different aspect of planning and delivering events.

The last event in the ‘5 Steps to Successful Events’ series took place in March and provided industry professionals with key insight to measure the effectiveness of their events, along with the importance of holding solid and clear business objectives. Jamie Vaughan, CEO of Glisser – the audience engagement platform – took to the stage to form a discussion panel with David Preston and Richard John from Realise, the UK’s first dedicated events training agency.

The events provided attendees with opportunities to learn and form new business connections. Key sponsors included Glisser, Blendology, Brand Anonymous, Absolute AV Solutions and PA Life. Blue Smile, the Club’s 2016/17 charity, was also present.

The next clic+ event will be the annual conference, which is set to take place on Tuesday 10 October at the Crausaz Wordsworth Building – more details to follow soon.
