Yudan Ren has become a member of the UKRI Talent Peer Review College

Congratulations to Yudan Ren, who has become a member of the UKRI Talent Peer Review College.
Yudan, a third year PhD student and Senior Member at Robinson, was awarded the prestigious Medical Research Council (MRC) Career Development Fellowship to work the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB). Her research was presented to Queen Elizabeth II during the opening of the new LMB building in 2013. After starting a career break in 2014 from her LMB position, Yudan made a history in 2023 by becoming Cambridge's first-ever Royal Society Daphne Jackson Fellow - a milestone featured in the Royal Society's STEM Research Career Roadmap, read her case study here
Yudan is now uncovering the molecular mechanisms behind virus-induced birth defects in infants. Her expertise is also recognised as a member of the UKRI Talent Peer Review College.
