Our menus are designed to offer, on a daily basis, a varied selection of foods at a range of prices, which include vegetarian options. The normal daily options are:

and
Snack bar
a variety of low cost quick dishes.

Desserts, cheese and fresh fruit
A hot pudding of the day and a range of cold sweets,
a selection of cheese and biscuits and a fresh fruit basket

Chef's Special
For variety, Chef will occasionally offer more extravagant or unusual dishes served complete with potatoes and vegetables. An all-inclusive price is set for this option and is normally more expensive than that of the average hot main dishes available. However this is well worth trying - but do come early as they are very popular.

We work on a 6-week cycle of menus, which are subject to change, in order to avoid costly waste. The Head Chef may remove dishes where excess wastage might occur. Popular items which may be consumed prior to the end of service will be replaced with alternatives wherever practical. You may find that not all the choices will last for the whole session of service, but with roughly seven choices each day we're sure you'll find something you like.

Eat In or Take Away Service

We offer both Eat In (Socially distanced seating) or Takeaway. Please ask the Garden Restaurant serving staff if you would like to take a meal back to your room. We can provide take away containers,  for this purpose or please bring your own container.  Please do not remove Garden Restaurant china or cutlery.

Please note that it is your responsibility if food requires re-heating, to ensure that it is heated to a safe temperature all the way through. If in doubt, ask us for advice.

Check the Today's Menus page for up to date information about the current menus.

As we are here to sell our range, we ask that you don’t bring food or drink from elsewhere to consume in the Garden Restaurant, Red Brick Cafe Bar/ Balcony or Dining Hall areas. However, we also know that you may, from time to time, want to celebrate a special occasion, maybe with a cake. Please let us know that you are coming so that we can be prepared to welcome you, but please bear in mind that there may be occasions when this isn’t possible and the supervisor on duty will need to make the final decision.
