About Outreach at Robinson

Robinson College is committed to supporting all prospective students who wish to apply to the College, regardless of social or educational background. To this end, the Robinson Admissions and Outreach Team works to provide information, guidance and support to all interested students through a variety of free events and programmes.

At Robinson, we recognise that top students are not only found at top schools. For many students at UK state schools, the aim of 'Oxbridge' does not appear within reach or brings with it a lot of uncertainties.

Proudly led by a state-educated team, Robinson Outreach provides opportunities for enthusiastic students who do not come from a traditional 'Oxbridge' background. In particular, we aim to work with students whose home postcodes fall under IMD 1&2, those who are eligible for Free School Meals, those who are care experienced and those from underrepresented ethnic backgrounds, although this is a non-exhaustive list.

Teacher or Adviser?

The Admissions and Outreach Team

Dr C Wilkinson and Dr R Fell work to assess and oversee applications made and directed to Robinson College. Dr C Wilkinson is a Director of Studies for English and Dr R Petri is a Director of Studies for Modern and Medieval Languages.

Lynn oversees the process of undergraduate admissions; she answers enquiries, processes applications, arranges interviews and communicates decisions and feedback on applications.

Kaz interacts with schools and prospective applicants; she organises and manages outreach events such as residentials, open days, school and college visits.

Ahmad is the Access Officer on the Robinson College Students' Association; he assists with the wide variety of events that take place throughout the year.
