Why apply?

Each year, we recruit current (and recently graduated) students to join our Telephone Campaign team. As a caller, you will:

  • Speak with alumni worldwide – share College news, compare experiences as a student, and gain valuable career insights.
  • Support your fellow students – encourage donations that fund support and opportunities for current and future Robinsonians.
  • Network and develop skills – build your CV with experience in communication, alumni engagement and fundraising.

  • Earn over £600 for the campaign – pay rate of £13.45 p/h.
  • Full training provided – no previous experience required.
  • Paid for accommodation before your Michaelmas Term tenancy begins.

Key dates

The 2026 Telephone Campaign will take place between Wednesday 23rd September  Friday 2nd October (including training).

An example schedule:

Wednesday 23rd – 10am-4pm Training Thursday 24th – 10am-4pm Training & 6-9.30pm Calling Friday 25th – 6-9.30pm Calling
Saturday 26th – 10am-5pm Calling Sunday 27th – 2-7pm Calling Tuesday 29th – 6-9.30pm Calling
Wednesday 30th – 9.45am-1.15pm & 6-9.30pm Calling Thursday 1st – 6-9.30pm Calling Friday 2nd – 9.45am-1.15pm & 6-9.30pm Calling
