Development Administrator

Robinson College is seeking to appoint a Development Administrator to support the Development Office in a range of administrative activities.

Founded by an entrepreneur philanthropist who never went to university, Robinson began life as a start-up college. Now approaching its first half-century, Robinson has reached a tipping point, as its alumni and supporter community grows in size and maturity and the College is financially secure. Robinson is making plans for a dynamic future that will include a major capital campaign - the support of our alumni and donors will be crucial to our success.

The Development Administrator will provide an opportunity to contribute to that success by processing all gifts to the College.  The post holder will also ensure records on the database, which underpin every aspect of the Office’s work, are kept up to date, especially to facilitate an ongoing relationship with former students (alumni). The role includes general administrative support for the office, including the Development Director and Development Manager, providing the team with the support and information needed to do their work effectively.

Reporting to the Research and Database Manager, the role requires you to take a pride in your accurate and consistent approach to regular tasks, and strong organisational skills. We are also looking for a tactful, flexible and enthusiastic attitude to supporting the overall aims of the department.
