Robinson College is seeking to appoint an on-site Maintenance Manager, to take responsibility for the day to day management of the maintenance team. This multi-faceted operational team requires a balanced approach to ensure that the expectations of all its customers are met, alongside the careful management of resources, safety, logistics and finances.
You will have leadership and management experience in a maintenance or construction type team setting, ideally within the academic/college or hospitality sector, with a sound knowledge of building maintenance and construction techniques.
You must be able to demonstrate a positive and conscientious attitude towards leading the department in all aspects of related Health and Safety.
Along with being service-focused, understanding the needs of our Fellowship, students and commercial stakeholders, you will empathise with the requirements of the operation to ensure delivery of consistently high standards of maintenance. You will have the skills and knowledge to lead and motivate the team and to direct and manage operational and service strategies in harmony.
You will have proven organisational skills and expertise to effectively manage the department within regulatory compliance, College policy and financial budgets. You will be energised by the prospect of leading and developing an already successful team to further heights.
