The main degree ceremonies for undergraduates are held at the end of June/start of July and are referred to as General Admission. Robinson will take part in General Admission on Saturday 4 July 2026. Graduands must have just completed one of the following courses to be eligible to receive their degree at General Admission: BTh, BA, VetMB and BA with MEng or MMath or MSci.
In mid-March, the Praelector’s Secretary emails a General Admission invitation to Robinson undergraduate finalists including detailed information on the ceremony and on how to apply to graduate. The General Admission application process is different to other degree ceremonies and graduands cannot apply to graduate at General Admission before receipt of the invitation.
Robinson hopes that its undergraduate finalists will choose to receive their degree in person at General Admission.
However, they may receive their degree in absence but if they do so, they are not permitted to attend a degree ceremony at any point for the conferral or celebration of that degree.
Undergraduate finalists who cannot attend the upcoming General Admission ceremony may apply to graduate in person at a later degree ceremony that Robinson is presenting at instead, subject to availability of places, apart from at a future General Admission ceremony.
