PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide is the UK charity dedicated to the prevention of suicide and the promotion of positive mental health and emotional wellbeing in young people. Their HOPELINEUK telephone service is staffed by trained suicide prevention advisers who give non-judgmental support, practical advice and information. HOPELINEUK is a free and confidential call, text and email service, which is available from 9am to midnight, every day of the year.

Nightline is a confidential night-time support service for Cambridge & Anglia Ruskin Universities. This service is available 7pm-7am during Cambridge University Full Term.

BEAT is the UK’s eating disorder charity. Their mission is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. BEAT provides helplines for adults and young people offering support and information about eating disorders.

Student Minds is a mental health charity that aims to empower students with the knowledge, confidence and skills to look after their own mental health and support others through their national network of university groups.

NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Talking Therapies

This local NHS service provides help to people aged 17 and over who are experiencing common mental health problems such as depression and anxiety disorders, including: generalised anxiety disorder (GAD); social anxiety; post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); health anxiety; panic; phobias and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). You do not need a diagnosis to access the service. The service also sees people with problems such as stress, low confidence, sleep disturbance and self-esteem issues.
