CP Hughes Teachers' Conference

The 2026 CP Hughes Teachers' Conference led by Robinson College will take place on Tuesday 17th March, 4:30pm - 8:00pm at the Old Bell Hotel, Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

Teachers and school representatives can register to attend here.

We sincerely welcome all staff members at any state-maintained school in any of our Link Areas (London Borough of Wandsworth, Wiltshire, Swindon and Gloucestershire) to join us for the Conference free-of-charge. The evening will include:

  • A mock interview between a current student and an Admissions Tutor;
  • An overview of the new Admissions Assessments;
  • Guidance on supporting potential applicants from KS3-5 and making appropriate GCSE and A Level subject choices for progression to Cambridge;
  • Opportunities to ask our Admissions Tutors questions informally throughout;
  • Complimentary refreshments provided upon arrival, and a buffet-style dinner including both hot and cold options will be served towards the end of the evening.

This year, we would also like to welcome suggestions from school representatives on topics they would like us to cover, and what they would like to see at the Conference.

As well as looking forward to welcoming staff members we continue to work with, we sincerely hope that school representatives who have not yet been able to visit us in Cambridge, or at the Conference, are able to gain an insight into the support that the College can offer.
