THE CHRISTMAS VACATION 2025/26
 

The Garden Restaurant will be open at the following times from the 

end of the Michaelmas Term 2025

MONDAY TO FRIDAY TIMINGS   

Breakfast  7.30am - 9.00am
Lunch  12.20pm - 1.15pm    (earlier closing if no external guests)                         
Dinner  6.00pm - 6.45pm         
 
MONDAY – FRIDAY OPENING ONLY      
        
Monday 8th to Friday 12th December - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th December - Breakfast and Lunch

Thursday 18th December - Breakfast, Lunch 12noon-12.20pm takeaway only

Friday 19th December - Breakfast and Lunch

CLOSED FOR CHRISTMAS

From after LUNCH Friday 19th December to Friday 2nd January 2026 inclusive. RE-OPEN WITH LUNCH Monday 5th January 2026.

Monday to Friday between:                    

Monday 5th to Friday 16th January 2026 - Breakfast and Lunch

WEEKEND OPENING

Any dates where there is Weekend opening, the times will be posted at the top of the stairs of the
Garden Restaurant in the week prior to the weekend, otherwise the servery will be closed.
    
Normal term-time catering resumes with Brunch on Saturday 17^th January at 12.00 to 1.30pm
 

PRICES:    
From the end of term (Friday 5th December) the meal deal arrangements will not apply as the Term-time menus to which these relate will have ceased.

From Wednesday 10th December 2025 – Friday 16th January 2026
Conference period lunch arrangements will apply, 
This is a fixed offering for £8.80 the lunch allowance is

1 x Main Course dish with any 2 portions from the daily choices of:
Potato, Vegetable, Salad portion OR a Side Salad 
1 x Dessert or Cheese option
1 x Fruit juice
1 x Bread Roll & butter.         Hot beverages are not included

NO GUESTS ARE PERMITTED DURING THIS PERIOD
(WITHOUT A PERMISSION SLIP FROM THE CATERING MANAGER)

During the Conference period please come in to lunch as early as possible to avoid queuing and we would be grateful if the amount of time you spend sitting in the cafeteria after your meal is limited, as seating can be tight, Please use the Red Brick Café after lunch for coffee.
